Double Challenge Week! Kick it With Me!

It’s that time again. Time for me to get out of my comfort zone. The excitement from hot yoga has dwindled and I am ready to get back out there and try something new. I feel like there are so many awesome things I want to try, big and small, so this week I am picking two things.

First is kickboxing, as you can probably tell from this humorous quote. Haha. Thanks Alicia Keys for that.

alicia keys quote I will be attending 9 Round Kickboxing on Wednesday night at 7:15PM. It is a 30 Minute class with 27 exercises in a full body circuit format. There are trainers there to help you through the circuit and with the moves. Other than that, I honestly have no idea what to expect. If you want to attend or want some more information on this place, check out this link:  Their whole concept sounds pretty cool. And to top it all off…the first workout there is FREE! Can’t beat that. Definitely looking forward to this and having some wonderful people join me!

The other challenge I am going to do is; I am going to wear something that is out of “my norm.” I am going with a boho headband this week. Since kickboxing is free, I am going to pick up a new one for myself somewhere.

I can’t wear it to work at the spa, so it’s going to have to be in the evening when I am out boho headbandand about or this weekend. (Need to actually be seen in it.) I attempted wearing one a couple of weeks ago to the little guy’s football game and backed out last-minute. Was heading out the door, looked in the mirror and thought “Who am I kidding?” and pulled it off. I actually thought I looked really cute with it but I guess the thought of “What will other people think?” got into my head. This week I am saying, who cares and wearing it!

Is there something hanging in your closet that you haven’t yet ventured out in? Maybe leather leggings, a scarf you don’t know how to wear, combat boots, hipster glasses, a bright lipstick, those trendy baggy trousers, a sheer flyaway cardigan, a fun statement necklace? (PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT WEAR ALL OF THESE AT THE SAME TIME..that could be very, very bad. Haha.) Whatever it may be, I encourage you to wear it! (And just a little side note, I am posting to the Fitness Page a couple of times a week, however it will not email you when I do as I don’t want your emails overflowing. So feel free to check in occasionally. Most recently was : “I have no time to workout.” Sound familiar?)

    I’d love to do the kickboxing, but you know my Wednesdays are booked. 😦 Let me know how it goes, and maybe we can go back together!
